The Food Initiative is a not for profit operation that seeks to grow healthy food, empower lives, and build community. We seek to create these opportunities on our farm site in Clarksville, TN where we grow a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as raise a variety of animals, such as myotonic goats, laying hens, and pastured hogs. We produce food to benefit the health of the land as well as our bodies. We sell our products through a CSA program, local markets, and we also donate to local hunger relief organizations. We would love to have you come and visit us at the farm. We have opportunties for field trips, group events, and individuals to come and learn. We would love to meet you!

We do our best to keep this guide accurate, but farming is a dynamic
occupation, things change fast. It is a good idea to call and verify
any of the information in this guide before you plan a trip to a
farm. Also, please be considerate. The farms in this guide are working
farms as well as residences in many cases. If you think of yourself
more as a valued guest than a customer you'll have a great experience.
