We want to make it easier to find healthier, and tastier food for you
and your family. We offer easy and varied choices. You can choose
catagories like farmers markets, wineries, retailers, or products, or
select counties, or search the whole database. You can even combine a
leisure day trip in our beautiful countryside with a gourmet
destination. We hope you can use this guide, along with the magazine,
as a resource to the agricultural bounties of Middle Tennessee. If you
would like to ask your neighbor for personal reviews and experiences
of individual CSAs, farms or other local food purveyors, or leave a
review yourself, please check out our new forum Buying Local Food in our new
Community Forums section.
Join us as we begin our journey to discover all of the great
flavors that are grown in our own 'backyard'.

Boyd Mill Farm
 |
Boyd Mill Farm is a Pick Your Own berry farm nestled on the banks of
the West Harpeth River outside Franklin, Tennessee. Once home to the
Boyd Mill, the farm was a gathering place for the community from the
1800s until the mill closed in 1920. Owners Carol Warren and Dale Whitehead,
who are also musicians, wanted
to have the farm again be a community gathering place. In 2000, they
began to grow thornless blackberries, and opened the farm to the
public in 2002.|More| |
